FamilyResource.com
The intent of FamilyResource.com was to be easy to use, quick to access data,
and easy to administer. This site uses several automated features that save the
client literally hundreds of hours of work. Those features include:
- Database Connectivity - All data (articles, authors, reviews, etc…)
are stored in a SQL database
- Online Administration - The entire web site can be administered via
an Internet browser from anywhere in the world. When the user adds a new
article, the whole entire site is automatically updated.
- Dynamic Content - The entire web site is made up of a handful of
scripts. The scripts pull data from the SQL server and create web pages
instantly.
- Newsletter - The newsletter conducts an advanced address
verification scheme to ensure valid email addresses. The client has the
ability to send a newsletter to everyone on the list by simply using an online
form in the administration area.
- Search - The site has a powerful search engine for looking up
articles and reviews.
